Val-You

Two ways to look at Val-you.

First, do I value myself enough? Is there a proper marketplace value on my existence? Be honest with yourself here. The law of supply and demand applies here as it does in any marketplace.

If you value yourself too much, others will not, and the demand for you will decrease.

If you value yourself too little, others will too, and either leave you alone or take advantage of you.

Be aware of what you set as your daily marketplace value. You can use your interactions with others as guidance.

Second, did you increase your val-you today, and if so how?

Your 9am to 5pm life – did you improve on any of the tools currently in your toolbox? Did you develop, or even start to develop a new one?

Your 5pm to 9am life – there are lots of ways to create value for yourself and others outside of your “work” life. Did you help someone cross the street, donate a unit of blood, give to charity, call someone to tell them you are thinking of them or even love them?

Be aware that your life revolves around val-you.

Value yourself properly, strive to increase your real value – and no inflation please.

Wishes for a great and productive day to all,

Hugs too,

David/

Return to Your Babyhood Remember the good old days when you were a baby? When you never gave up, regardless of how many times you failed. What happened to those good old days? When you were learning how to walk, you fell down each and every time. On average 17 times per hour. Hundreds if not thousands of times. And what did you do? You got back up. Each and every time. No questions asked. Never taking failure as your final answer. And then, you succeeded. You never doubted yourself. You never overthought things. You never got in your way. If you are now doing these things, preventing yourself from succeeding, getting in your own way, doubting yourself, overthinking things, stop. You can do it. You have done it before. When you had far less capabilities and knowledge and support. Wishes for another great day, each one a gift, David/

Failure or Revelation? You never fail at anything, and that is the truth. What you are doing is revealing to yourself an area of improvement. It is important to realize this, because if you are not failing at something, you are not challenging yourself adequately. And if you are not challenging yourself, how do you make yourself a better person tomorrow than you are today? So please, fail at something often. Be a better person each and every day, because, Each day is a gift, David/
