Love is what you do to someone,

Respect is what you do not do to someone.

Without love, there can be no respect.

Without respect, there can be no love.

They complete each other.

Love and respect are how you want to be treated by everyone.

And, for that to happen, that is how you should treat everyone.

And sometimes, perhaps more than half of the time, you need to go first and demonstrate to someone else that you love and respect them - doing both together in unison.

Imagine a world where that was the standard operating system.
