I recently wrote about the University with the largest living alumni association, Whatsamatter U. (link).

Iftory, “If”tory is a course that is not offered there.  On any level.

You may be wondering what the subject matter is and why so many people have matriculated the course - started but not necessarily completed it.

Iftory is a course that centers on, “What If…….”?

What if:

I was smarter

I was taller

I was more athletic

I had different parents

I had been born somewhere else, and on and on…….

Iftory is not offered at Whatsamatter U because it is a course that should not exist, and truly does not.  It is history rewritten in the first person.  You being the first person.

It is the AI generated rear view mirror of something in your life, something in the past that could have been, should have been, would have been.  A complete waste of your time.

And as do all rear view mirrors, it diverts your eyes and attention away from what is directly in front of you - something you have more control over.

So, if you are currently enrolled in Iftory 101 or even more advanced levels - immediately unenroll.  If you are a distinguished graduate, continue advising current enrollees.
