It is commonly thought that humans have walked about Planet Earth for about six million years, with the last 200,000 of them in our current iteration. During the majority of that time, an unusual amount of our daily time and efforts were directed at providing shelter for ourselves.

We usually enjoy these level two blessings without paying attention to them, not recognizing that less than 1% of all humans ever in existence had access to such comforts. We are fortunate to be alive today.

Together with your level one blessings it becomes easy to appreciate the gift that today is.

Return to Your Babyhood Remember the good old days when you were a baby? When you never gave up, regardless of how many times you failed. What happened to those good old days? When you were learning how to walk, you fell down each and every time. On average 17 times per hour. Hundreds if not thousands of times. And what did you do? You got back up. Each and every time. No questions asked. Never taking failure as your final answer. And then, you succeeded. You never doubted yourself. You never overthought things. You never got in your way. If you are now doing these things, preventing yourself from succeeding, getting in your own way, doubting yourself, overthinking things, stop. You can do it. You have done it before. When you had far less capabilities and knowledge and support. Wishes for another great day, each one a gift, David/

Failure or Revelation? You never fail at anything, and that is the truth. What you are doing is revealing to yourself an area of improvement. It is important to realize this, because if you are not failing at something, you are not challenging yourself adequately. And if you are not challenging yourself, how do you make yourself a better person tomorrow than you are today? So please, fail at something often. Be a better person each and every day, because, Each day is a gift, David/
