Enough

When is enough, enough?

When is enough, too much?

When is enough, “dangerous”?

In my morning prayers I say that I have enough.  That I have had enough, that I have enough, and I will have enough in the future.  It has been, is, and will always be, that way

.What is enough?  Enough is exactly what I have today.

Could I have more? Yes.

Do I need more? No.

I have enough.

There are multiple posts on the blog alluding to this

I have enough.

I am thankful.

I am going to focus my efforts on those around me, on creating value.

If I focus my efforts on getting more when I have enough, there is a loss of opportunity to help others - making sure that they have enough.

.Enough becomes dangerous when you don’t think you have enough

You start worshiping false idols.

.Eventually God wins, aka nobody escapes life alive

And the material goods you have acquired now become ownerless.

Make sure the wealth in the value you create far exceeds all else.

Those are the memories that last the longest.

.Wishes for a great day, each one a gift

Hugs too,

David/

Return to Your Babyhood Remember the good old days when you were a baby? When you never gave up, regardless of how many times you failed. What happened to those good old days? When you were learning how to walk, you fell down each and every time. On average 17 times per hour. Hundreds if not thousands of times. And what did you do? You got back up. Each and every time. No questions asked. Never taking failure as your final answer. And then, you succeeded. You never doubted yourself. You never overthought things. You never got in your way. If you are now doing these things, preventing yourself from succeeding, getting in your own way, doubting yourself, overthinking things, stop. You can do it. You have done it before. When you had far less capabilities and knowledge and support. Wishes for another great day, each one a gift, David/

Failure or Revelation? You never fail at anything, and that is the truth. What you are doing is revealing to yourself an area of improvement. It is important to realize this, because if you are not failing at something, you are not challenging yourself adequately. And if you are not challenging yourself, how do you make yourself a better person tomorrow than you are today? So please, fail at something often. Be a better person each and every day, because, Each day is a gift, David/
