Tonight, go outside at sunset and look up to the sky.

Tomorrow morning go outside and gaze at the sunrise.

Our sun that you see either setting or rising is 93 Million miles away from you.

On a clear evening you can see the Andromeda galaxy which is about 15 Quintillion miles away from you.  A quintillion is a billion billions. 

For completeness sake, the farthest galaxy from us that we know about is about 78,000 quintillion miles from us. 

Now look at the horizon.  Realize that you are seeing approximately 3 miles due to the curvature of the Earth. 

This should make you wonder.  And this is the purpose of this post - Never lose the sense of wonder.  Of how small you/we are - both individually and as part of a group of humans.  In fact, search it out. 

What are the odds of you being here in this moment?  The answer is well beyond a quintillion quintillions to 1. 

The real question is Not why [you are here] but what are you going to do with it - with your gift of today - of each day you get? 

Each day is a gift, make sure to wrap it well.
