There is no typo in the title above.

Without evil, there cannot be good.

Without dirty there cannot be clean.

Without sad, there cannot be happy.

Without empty, there cannot be full.

Without sour, there cannot be sweet.  And on and on.

I bring this up because when you see evil, you need to try to see the good in it.  Whether it be the person and or the act.  And at times as impossible as it might be, witness the Holocaust, it is essential that we do that.

As some say, hate the sin not the sinner - we must always.  We are all capable of doing bad things, sometimes some of us act evil.  We all are capable of recognizing that and bettering ourselves.  That almost always requires another person's help and guidance.  It is good to be a guiding light to those whose actions are dark.

If you are wondering what good balanced the genocidal evil of the Holocaust, many would point to the creation of the State of Israel and the Jews ability to inhabit its original homeland again after over 2,000 years of exile.
