Every Parent is a Communist/Socialist

“From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs”, Karl Marx? No.  Actually from a common slogan used within the socialist and communist movements a century before Marx.  

I would like to add that not all humans are communists or socialists, but all parents are.

Having four children and lots of grandchildren and witnessing others in similar circumstances, I can attest to the veracity of my claim above.

Why?

To each child we give according to their needs, even if we need to take from others according to their abilities.

And we are sensible enough to stop treating them like that as they grow up and become adults.
